HUB MANAGER CIS Region (O&M)

On behalf of a reputed multinational company in the power sector of Uzbekistan, we are looking for a Hub Manager (O&M)

Job purpose:
To oversee the operation and maintenance activities of a 2GW utility-scale solar photovoltaic plant, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of service delivery by strategically managing resources, implementing best industry practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to eventually achieve operational excellence that meets contractual obligations.
To demonstrate effective leadership, coordination, cost management and innovation to drive the plant profitability while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or related field).
- 10+ years of manager role experience in the operation and maintenance of power plants, including at least 5 years in utility-scale solar PV plant operations.
- Experience in the CIS region as an O&M manager of utility-scale solar PV plants;
- Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams.

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical protection systems.
- Experience using SCADA, CMMS, and data analytics tools for performance monitoring.
- Understanding of grid connection requirements and energy dispatch coordination.

Soft Skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead in multicultural environments and under challenging operational conditions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Uzbek or Russian is an advantage.
