Role Overview
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will drive the design and development of cloud-agnostic control tower / landing zone platforms, reusable Terraform-based IaC frameworks, and secure, observable cloud infrastructure across projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Design & build cloud-agnostic Control Tower / Landing Zone platforms
• Develop reusable Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code modules
• Implement continuous observability across cloud platforms
• Establish best-in-class cloud security posture
• Build internal tools/codebases for platform engineering initiatives
• Participate in Cloud & DevOps architecture discussions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote coding best practices
• Deliver scalable, secure infrastructure platforms across projects
• Document processes and best practices for knowledge sharing
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• 10+ years overall experience, with 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS services (VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, ALB/NLB, Route53, WAF, Lambda, KMS, etc.)
• Hands-on AWS Control Tower implementation experience (minimum 2 implementations)
• Deep experience with Terraform (modules, reusable IaC)
• Exposure to Ansible / Puppet / Chef / CloudFormation
• Strong DevOps & CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, CircleCI)
• Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes (self-managed clusters, EKS, Fargate)
• Experience with Monitoring & Logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK/EFK, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus)
• Scripting skills: Python, Bash, Shell
• Strong understanding of HA/DR, RTO/RPO, OS & performance troubleshooting
• Experience with Artifact repositories (JFrog, Nexus)
Qualification : • BE/ B.Tech
or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
